François is a Canadian lawyer and the founder of the firm. Prior to founding the firm, François served as General Counsel to private and publicly listed multinational companies, where he led multidisciplinary legal teams and advised on high-value international transactions across the oil & gas, infrastructure, manufacturing and technology sectors. He began his legal career practicing maritime law in top-tier Canadian law firms in Montreal. This background brings international perspective, proven leadership experience, and a structured approach to complex shipping transactions. Born in Cairo, François has lived in Egypt, Tunisia, Canada and the United Arab Emirates. He works in English and French and can hold a basic conversation in Greek.

Constantine Orphanos

Constantine is a graduate of Boston University in Political Science and International Economics. Following graduation, he served as an officer in the United States Army. Upon honorable discharge, he pursued specialized education in finance and investment, beginning his career with premier international financial institutions in New York, where he developed the foundation for over three decades of experience in investment advisory services, banking, and shipping. Based in Athens since 2004, Constantine has been active in shipbroking, focusing on Sale and Purchase transactions, ship valuations and special projects across a broad range of vessel types, including dry, wet, and offshore. He has been a lecturer at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers since 2011.

Stephan Yazedjian

Advisory board member


Stephan is a seasoned CEO, board director and corporate finance executive with more than 25 years of experience leading businesses, advising management teams and boards, and executing value creation strategies across public and private companies. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Imaflex Inc., a TSX-listed flexible packaging company, where he recently led the business through a successful strategic sale for $130 million to Soteria, backed by TJC, a large US based private equity. Over the course of his career, Stephan has been associated with four successful exits as CEO, Chairman or board member. Earlier in his career, Stephan held senior roles with leading North American financial institutions, advising on more than US$25 billion of mergers and acquisitions, financings and capital markets transactions. His experience spans capital raising, M&A, business transformation, governance, strategy and shareholder value creation. Stephan also serves as a board member of Arton Capital, an international residency and citizenship company. He brings to TFX a unique combination of public company leadership, transaction execution experience and deep relationships across the North American capital markets ecosystem.
